The Native American Youth Internship Program, in partnership with United Healthcare, is an internship for high school juniors and seniors. This program gives students the chance to educate their communities and pueblos about the importance of health care. The interns collected information from each event held, which assisted communities and individuals in enrolling in health care. Interns were given a monthly stipend based on the amount of events they attended, in addition to how many people they were able to assist to enroll. At the end of the six-month program, if an intern reached over 100 enrollees, they were given an education award for future college expenses.
